Play as Balto as he tries to deliver vaccinations to sick kids! Traverse the dangerous and unpredictable slopes of Alaska. Try to escape the winding mazes of its forest all while trying to not damage the vaccinations!

I wanted to keep things interesting with this challenge of making a racing game by creating a mechanic that would best resemble the experience of a dog carrying a sled.

I wanted the sled to feel a little unwieldy and wild by having it react to how Balto moved. It was a simple project but one I feel captured the experience I wanted to go for well.

Having the sled feel just right was the most difficult part of this project. One of the biggest problems was the sled kept flying past Balto, which felt a little unfair, and also once it went past Balto it was almost impossible to get it back. So, I had to adjust the numbers little by little to get it just right.
